What happens to your information.

What this site collects

This website does not run advertising trackers, does not sell data, and does not build advertising profiles of visitors. The only information collected is what you hand over deliberately, plus the standard server request logs that any web host keeps.

• If you book a call, scheduling is handled by Cal.com, which is embedded on this site. The name, email address, and any notes you enter go to Cal.com and to me. Their handling is governed by their own privacy policy.
• If you email or call, I keep that correspondence so I can respond and maintain a record of the conversation.
• Hosting logs. This site is hosted on Netlify, which records request data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested. That is standard infrastructure logging and is used for security and reliability.

What I do with it

I use your information to reply to you, to schedule and prepare for conversations, and to deliver work if we end up in an engagement together. That is the entire list. Your information is not sold, rented, or traded. It is not used to train any AI model.

Client data during an engagement

Consulting engagements routinely involve access to financial, operational, and personnel data. That access is governed by the written agreement for the engagement, which takes precedence over this page. As a matter of standard practice:

• Client data stays inside the client's own tenant and systems wherever the architecture allows.
• Access is limited to what the work actually requires, and is revoked when the engagement ends.
• Client data is not used to train models, and is never shared with other clients or used as an example without written permission.
• Confidentiality obligations survive the end of the engagement.

I hold a CPA license, which carries its own professional confidentiality obligations independent of any contract.

Third parties involved

Running a business requires a few vendors. The ones that can touch information related to this site are Netlify (hosting), Cal.com (scheduling), and Microsoft 365 (email and document storage). Each has its own privacy terms.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies of its own. The embedded scheduling tool may set cookies necessary for booking to function when you interact with it.

Your choices

You can ask what information I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email james@motionaisystems.com and I will handle it directly. There is no form and no ticket queue. If you have asked me not to contact you, that request is permanent.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects how your information is handled, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
